Frequently Asked Questions
How does SnapCaptionRemover work?
SnapCaptionRemover uses advanced AI algorithms specifically trained to identify and seamlessly remove the typical text overlays and captions found on saved Snapchat photos. Simply upload your image, and our tool automatically processes it to erase the text, leaving the background intact as much as possible.
Is SnapCaptionRemover free to use?
Yes, you get 3 free credits when you sign up! Each credit allows you to process one image. After using your free credits, you can purchase more credits to continue removing captions from your Snapchat photos.
How do I get more credits?
You can easily purchase additional credits directly through our website. Visit the 'Credits' page (link usually in the header or your account section) to see the available packages and choose the one that best suits your needs.
What file types are supported?
We support common image formats like JPG/JPEG and PNG, which are the most typical formats for saved Snapchat photos. If you have issues with a specific file, please ensure it's one of these types.
Is my uploaded image kept private?
Yes, privacy is important. Your images are processed securely and are only stored temporarily for the duration needed to remove the caption. We do not share or use your images for any other purpose. They are automatically deleted from our servers shortly after processing.
Why can't I just remove the caption in Snapchat?
Once a photo is saved with a caption directly within the Snapchat app, the text becomes part of the image file itself. Snapchat doesn't offer a feature to undo or remove this text after saving. Our tool is designed specifically to address this limitation.
Does it work on videos?
Currently, SnapCaptionRemover is designed specifically for still photos (images). We do not support video caption removal at this time.
What if the caption isn't removed perfectly?
Our AI does its best, but complex backgrounds or unusual text placements can sometimes pose challenges. If you encounter an issue, you can try adjusting the image slightly or contact support, although results can vary based on the original image complexity.
